Studies on Microorganisms acid Their Sensitivity to` Antibiotics in Pyodermas

Abstract
From. 40 cases of pyodermic lesions culture and sensitivity test to various antibiotics were performed. . The results are as follows:
1. Under the 40 cases of pyodermas each types of pyoderma are as follows: 18 furuncles, 5 carbuncles, 9 impetigo contagiosa, 5 follicu1itis, 1 ecthyma, 1 hydradenitis suppurativa and 1 acute paronychia.
2. Thirty eight strains(80.9%)of coagulase positive staphylococci and 9 strains( 19. 1 %)of a-hemolytic streptococci were found.
3. Coagalase positive staphylococci showed resistance to penicillin in 89.5%, streptomycin in 32.0%, terramycin in 18.4%, aureomycin in 13.2% and bacitracin in 3% respectively but no resistance strain to chloromycetin was found.
4. ?- hemolytic streptococci had no resistance to tested antibiotics except 44. 4% of tested cases with streptomycin.
